In Toronto we are used to long winters and this year has been our exception. We have yet to have our first real snowfall. That's unheard of here. I know you wish for the heat of LA but I'm sure there will be tons of UK things you'll miss once you're back in America. I loved the stalker story - hilarious ! And although I just left England after four years, I can totally relate on the plodding through the long winters front. My strategy to make the most of British winters included lots of Sunday roasts with a newspaper in a pub, checking out great parks, and attempting to make homemade soups.
